Kudos to Maritime CEO and its editor Sam Chambers for managing to nail Mandarin Shipping’s chairman Tim Huxley for the first interview in over a decade. Little known outside Hong Kong, the company is a rising star in the feeder container ship sector, which has been a bad place for investors in recent years, exemplified by the way so many German KG funds collapsed. But Mr Huxley said he sees an “opportunity to build an Asian based company providing a first class service with modern, fuel efficient ships to the major liner companies”.
