The head of FedEx Freight is cross. Not only has Bill Logue lambasted the US for failing to invest in its transport infrastructure, but he has pointed out systemic failures in other countries too. In the US, he said, highways, roads and bridges will fail to cope with the amount of traffic growth predicted, while aviation urgently needs the NextGen technology and e-freight. He even singled out port infrastructure, which are “already experiencing congestion and delay”.
