A DHL 757-200 has broken in two at San Jose, Cost Rica. According to the Aviation Herald, it was climbing away from the runway when the crew declared ‘Mayday’, owing to a hydraulic failure. It returned to approach the runway, where the crew lost control. The aircraft spun around, left the runway and broke into two parts. The crew was able to exit without injury.
