Now comes news that it is in talks with Japan Display to build a huge new screen manufacturing production facility. “The deal would eventually allow Apple to produce its own OLED displays, which could be critical to future iDevice production. It may not be Apple’s way to get away from Sony Corp and other suppliers, however.”
