Forbes has teamed with ASQ, the Institute for Supply Management and Deloitte to find out what makes a value chain sustainable. And it has come up with a selection of ‘dos and ‘don’ts’ for businesses. It has also identified 10 management practices to improve value chain effectiveness – for example, businesses that engaged with their suppliers enjoyed a 38% increase in effectiveness and a 46% reduction in operating costs. Well worth a read (and could have useful stats for a conference presentation…)
