As the European parliament voted through the Brexit deal, with a massive majority, a perhaps more interesting take comes from the managing director of Ital Logistics, Phil Denton. A modest man but accomplished musician, he has written a song, Brexit Customs Blues, lamenting how “dazed and confused” the industry now is. “Boris got it done,” he sings. “He got a free trade deal, but it doesn’t feel that free to me… Now we keep getting emails, from gov dot UK, with the missing information, we should’ve had by New Year’s Day.” Worth a listen!
