Almost a year ago the shipping industry in New Zealand came to a standstill during the bitter dispute between the local dockers union and the Ports of Auckland Ltd. The silence since then does not mean the dispute has been resolved. Far from it, the two parties went into mediation which, according to this article, appears to have been fruitless.
