An interesting article in Forbes showing how big data is changing the way trucking companies operate. From telling a company if the refrigeration unit has warmed, and telling the driver where to get it fixed,to helping with fuel costs, it is revolutionising the land-based supply chain. Smaller companies, unsurprisingly, are slower to invest, But the question is whether they can afford not to.
