DP World, the company behind London Gateway, has fallen foul of the unions. The International Transport Workers’ Federation plans to take global action against the terminal operator in September, to highlight “the need [for it] to engage with unions … in a number of countries”. It is arguing for collective agreements at all DP World terminals, including London Gateway and Chennai.
