Osman Munir has been promoted at Dutch tug boat operator Kotug as its new chief commercial officer and taken a seat on the company’s board.
Mr Munir’s appointment follows a nine-year spell with the firm, having joined in June 2007 as group controller before moving on to become Kotug’s director of business development for terminals.
“I am honoured and proud to join the Kotug board” said Mr Munir. “I am looking forward to continuing my work with the teams executing the company’s strategic plan and further developing its global activities.”
Prior to joining Kotug, Mr Munir served as a consultant for KPMG between 2001 and 2007.
Kotug chief executive Ard-Jan Kooren said he was confident Mr Munir would rise to the challenges that lie ahead.
