Lufthansa Cargo chiefs in line for group CEO job

Anyone who knew Carsten Spohr when he was head of Lufthansa Cargo will not be surprised to learn that his name appears to be on the shortlist for the new CEO of the Lufthansa Group. Current CEO Christoph Franz has been appointed to chair the board of pharmaceutical company Roche, and he will leave in May. The current Lufthansa Cargo chief ,Karl Ulrich Garnadt, is also said to be in the running for the top spot.
