Milan, Italy, 24 March, 2015 – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, has today announced the opening of a local distribution center for Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Services, a division dedicated to the independent spare parts network and after sales market, consisting of 1,600 sq m in Padua Interporto, Italy.
The new center features 5,000 shelf locations and is entirely managed by RFID which is supported by CEVA’s technology suite CEVA Matrix®. The infrastructure and strategically located site of Padua Interporto, means CEVA is able to serve the customer rapidly and ensure on time delivery for Magneti Marelli’s final users in the Triveneto, Bolzano and Trento areas. Orders are delivered twice a day: with a cut-off of 18.00 (local time) for morning orders and 13.00 next day for those received in the afternoon.
