The Russian media are reporting that UK-based carrier CargoLogicAir (CLA) has stopped its African operations, citing a weak market. CLA was flying Stansted-Frankfurt-Libreville-Johannesburg-Nairobi. But according to sister carrier AirBridgeCargo’s CEO Sergey Lazarev, it ended the routes in August. A search on flight tracking websites show that the airline’s two aircraft are currently engaged in daily runs between Moscow and Hong Kong, with the odd stop in Leipzig and Frankfurt – and one at Heathrow. Mr Lazarev also revealed that ABC would begin phasing out its older of its seven 747-400Fs in 2018, to be replaced with 747-8Fs.
