Carlos Velez Rodriguez has become managing director of CEVA’s operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Melbourne, he will report to CEO Xavier Urbain. He has taken over from former Fuji Xerox Australia COO Clayton Noble, who only joined CEVA in September last year.
Mr Velez Rodriguez has joined CEVA from FM Logistic, where he was group managing director central Europe for 10 years. He has also been CEO of 20:20 Logistics in Spain, and country manager for Regus. Trilingual, Mr Velez Rodriguez was born in Colombia, but is Austrian.
“I am delighted to have someone of Carlos’s calibre to lead our operations in Australia & New Zealand,” said Mr Urbain. “His extensive industry knowledge, experience in leading large organisations and his collaborative style make him an excellent successor for this critical role in this important cluster
