Damco has today confirmed that the head of its perishable logistics business is to join sister company Maersk Line.
Damco’s chief operating officer Eric Herman told The Coolstar: “Damco confirms that Ole Schack Petersen, current Director-Head of Perishables Logistics will be remaining in his role until the end of March, after which he will be joining Maersk Line as Global Head of Commercial – Reefer Management.
“Damco is in the process of finding a suitable replacement for Ole and wishes him well in his new assignment,” he continued.
