Containerisation International’s Mike Wackett looks at PwC’s report on the transport logistics industry. And finds it is one in which the employees are overworked and underpaid, and more likely to be stuck in front of a computer screen than getting their hands dirty. Unless the industry starts to invest in people, training and improving its image, soon it could fall into a ‘critical state’. Definitely one to show your boss.
