Russian Rail cuts cargo target as economic growth slows

Rail might be an increasingly popular option in the US, as well as parts of Asia and Europe – but in Russia, where it carries about 85% of non-pipeline freight, it’s seeing a downturn. OAO Russian Railways has cut its 2013 forecast as exports have fallen, and the country may fall into recession.
