A couple of interesting titbits from Digitimes. Tablets shipments by Apple and Samsung are expected to increase during December, because of high demand, added to by some retailers cutting the price on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 in the US. Meanwhile, the first quarter of next year is looking promising, if you are involved in the shipment of games. Upstream sources have indicated that January shipments of Xboxes and Playstations will be at November levels, while February will be affected by the Chinese new year holiday. But volumes in March are expected to be strong.
