Sequestration to cause massive cuts in US air cargo

For the the non-Americans among us, sequestration is, in US law, “a procedure by which an automatic spending cut is triggered”. And this has happened, with the likely affect of serious challenges for the aviation industry. One study predicts 2bn-pounds worth of capacity will be cut from air cargo and cut some 246 airport control towers. Worrying stuff.
