We tend to think of supply chain disruption in terms of natural disasters or political events. But a study has found that services attributed to outsourcing is now the third most likely cause of a disruption ? while the leading cause is IT or telecom outages. Currency volatility takes a surprising fourth place. And disruption is costing more than it did last year.
