Menzies, the air cargo handler, is not having a good week – on both sides of the pond. In LAX, it has been fined for several breaches of health and safety rules, including improper handling and storage of hazardous cargo. Meanwhile, over in the UK, it faces strike action by its Heathrow workforce, which could affect some 15 airlines.
