Tomorrow is the deadline for UK-based e-commerce logistics providers to submit their applications for the HMRC’s new Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme (FHDDS).

Firms that have not registered by tomorrow could face punitive fines, as outlined in a post for The Loadstar last week by Howard Catherall.

Mr Catherall’s firm, Gotelee Solicitors, has produced an infographic for those who remain confused as to whether they need to apply.

“Businesses have expressed difficulty in determining whether they need to apply to register for the scheme. We have prepared a flowchart to assist those storing goods which are in free circulation,” he said.
