If you want to send a 20ft or 40ft container to your customer in China there are many forwarders that can arrange the shipment seamlessly and efficiently.
However, if your cargo does not fit into a standard container, the number of forwarders with out-of-gauge, conventional or project cargo expertise reduces significantly. For example, if the cargo is an exceptional load requiring, police and port approval as well as close co-ordination with the carrying line’s operations, a forwarder with proven experience of such shipments is essential.
In this blog by Damco, the 3PL enlightens us on the mechanics of its non-standard logistics solutions.
