Some rather honest, and bad news from China. Cargo flows in August were at their lowest point this year – and the country’s economic planning agency thinks there will be no substantial recovery in the next few years. This forecast does include bulk imports, while containerised trade may pick up, according to analysts. But it makes for rather glum reading.
