It’s good to see that Atlas has found another customer, so that all nine of its 747-8Fs are now placed on ACMI contracts. That will come as no relief to those airlines competing with its scheduled services in South America, but it does prove that there really is life after military. Anyway, here Cargo Facts counts up the numbers and discovers that fewer than half Atlas’s customers are traditional ACMI users, as forwarders and brokers move in to that space.
