Following an attempt by a passenger to board an Etihad Airways flight from Australia with a bomb made with explosives airfreighted from Turkey, the TSA has mandated enhanced screening of cargo from Turkey via a new security directive. It will ensure “cargo flying to the United States is screened and secured in accordance with the Air Cargo Advance Screening Program,” said a TSA spokesperson.
