A round-up of the key numbers in air freight in 2013 from air cargo database manager WorldACD. And there are a couple of surprises: South Asia to Europe, and Europe to China were the largest growing tradelanes, while the top three growth countries were more predictable – Bangladesh, the UAE and Vietnam. And globally, the industry saw a 1.8% growth. It doesn’t sound like much, but after the bath of the last few years, it may at least represent some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.
