Garner has been evaluating the rise in 3D printing and, in a new report, has shown that worldwide shipments will have risen 49% by the end of 2013. By 2017, it notes, the world will be awash with 3D printer shipments, and by 2015, seven of the world’s largest multinational retailers will be selling them to the likes of us.
