Berlin’s long-awaited Brandenburg International Airport (BER) is still set to open in the second half of 2017 despite one of its construction companies, Imtech Deutschland, going bankrupt this month. The airport was originally supposed to open six years ago, but has been plagued by construction management issues and allegations of corruption.
