Well, the world has come full circle. Or is it just upside-down? After all the hand-wringing over whether the US will move its manufacturing back home, it turns out the Chinese have been moving theirs to the US. The world’s largest producer of copper tubing for air conditioning, Xinxiang, is building a $100m plant in Alabama, joining several other Chinese companies in their attempt to avoid anti-dumping fines and get closer to their customers.
