You can rely on Cargo Facts to do the proper research. Here, it comes up with the top 10 cargo airlines in 2012 – with both IATA’s list, and its own. As it states: “As always, the IATA numbers are informative and misleading, all at the same time.” Because while Emirates scoops IATA’s top spot, the ‘real’ biggest cargo carrier isn’t even on the list. And it’s not an integrator.
