One Zim captain saw the lighter side of stack collapses when he added an amusing tune to a film of his vessel losing five containers in the Atlantic.
The containership, posted on the TikTok account belonging to the captain of Zim Shekou, shows the containers falling and then floating in the ocean.
In response to the posting of the clip below Zim said: “ZIM regrets the posting of this clip, which records an incident taking place over three years ago. While unfortunately this type of incident happens in the industry, the act of posting on social media in this manner is disrespectful and offending, firstly to the cargo owners, as well as ZIM’s well established ESG values, customer centric approach and professionalism.
“At the time of the event, we were in full communication with all relevant parties, and handled the incident according to our best practice.”
