The UK government needs to rethink its approach to Brexit now the Tory government has lost its majority, says the Freight Transport Association.

The FTA said the result indicated there was no clear mandate for the proposed “hard Brexit” and departure from the EU Customs Union.

    “Last year, roughly 44% of the UK’s exports in goods and services went to the EU, worth £240bn of  the £550bn total exports”. Need we say any more? Well yes a lot more. Let’s call “a spade a shovel” and get on with the real problem behind Brexit.
    It really boils down to the migration problem and not a trading argument. The Brits – well a lot of them – don’t want open borders flooded with out-of-works, who see an opportunity to benefit from the welfare benefits of living in Britain, saturating the job market. It is also a conflicting religious problem. TM and her cronies need to see the wood not the trees. Millions died to keep Britain Sovereign let’s not forget that.
