According to this interesting article from the Huffington Post, Vietnam’s economic prospects have been held back by its lack of transport infrastructure, and the corruption that has plagued many of its projects, especially ports – check out today’s top story for evidence, if any were needed. With the government now asking for foreign investment in a failed port project, analysts suggest that road, rail – and transparency – should also be on the agenda, or Vietnam will continue to be at a competitive disadvantage.
