Seko Logistics has announced three major appointments: a new CFO, CTO and VP for US domestic operations.
Matthew Brown (pictured above) will step up as the logistics operator’s new chief financial officer, replacing Dan Sarna, who retired last month.
Prior to joining Seko, Mr Brown served as CFO for tech firm Suzohapp and for SAE Towers before that.
Newly appointed chief technology officer Mike Powell rejoins the company after leaving in 2010 to co-found a cloud-based logistics company. At the time he was Seko’s VP for IT, and in 2014 he took on a similar role at RIM Logistics.
In returning to Seko he will take on responsibility for all matters related to technology, strategy, solutions and products, as well as developing the company’s MySeko platform.
Chief commercial officer Mark White said Mr Powell’s appointment brought a “wealth” of technology expertise to the company.
Lastly, Ian Oliver has been appointed to the newly created position of VP for domestic operations in the US.
Based in the company’s Chicago offices, he will be tasked with “rapidly” expanding its linehaul operations and home delivery services.
He joins Seko from ALG Worldwide Logistics where he served as VP for business development, but he also boasts six years’ experience at XPO and 13 years at AIT Worldwide.
