Jeff Bezos is facing a call to adopt an “extensive” climate change plan atonline behemoth Amazon. More than 4,000 employees, according to reports in Xinhua, lobbied the world’s richest man to implement measures to fight the “existential threat” facing the world. While the company has laid down some measures, many believe it could miss its own emission reduction targets and actually see its carbon footprint increase by 2030. The employees made their demands in a letter, which reportedly criticised Amazon for existing goals that “lack context”.
