Ever wanted to know which are the world’s biggest manufacturers? Well, IndustryWeek has compiled a list of the top 1,000, based on 2012 revenues. For anyone involved in transport, it will come as no surprise that the top six are all oil companies – only Volkswagen and Toyota break the energy sector’s stranglehold on the top ten. You can also sort the list by revenue growth, which places South Korea’s SK Chemicals at the top, with staggering growth of 507%. Fascinating.
