Eye for Transport has published a hi-tech shippers’ survey, examining the Asia-Pacific region. Suppliers to this sector will be delighted to know that cost reduction strategies are less important than they were to shippers, while operational issues are rising up the agenda. It’s an interesting set of charts that also looks at key markets and future demand. And while we’re on hi-tech, apparently Foxconn is ramping up production for Apple‘s next launch, thought to be the iPhone5S, for September or October sales.
