And while labour is in short supply, prices are high, thereby bringing down the relative cost of technology. Other issues are the problems of last-mile delivery, especially when combined with infrastructure originally designed to do something different; Amazon’s insourcing and its effect on the market, electric vehicles and the growing use of technology and the speed of market transformation.
