When Nissan Patrol decided to flex its muscles and set a brand new Guinness World Record with its latest top of the range SUV, they contacted RUS Aviation to “lend” them a cargo plane to pull over a distance of over 50 metres.

In its 14 year history RUS Aviation has built a reputation for going the extra mile for its customers and doing what others have not deemed possible.  The company was therefore happy to oblige with the request and to be a part of this record breaking event.  On Thursday 22 August at  Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, in front of an excited crowd, the official Guinness Book of Records assessors and local dignitaries, the Nissan Patrol Hero All Terrain hauled a  170 ton Ilyushin (IL-76 RUS Aviation cargo plane) over the required distance to take the record.
