Ceva Logistics has appointed Niels van Namen to lead its global healthcare business development. Reporting to chief commercial officer Laurent Binetti, Mr van Namen “will drive growth and develop the strategy for Ceva’s growing healthcare sector”.
He will be based at one of the company’s healthcare facilities at Culemborg in the Netherlands.
Mr van Namen spent nearly seven year with UPS, as vice president business development healthcare, and latterly as vice president healthcare Europe. Prior to that he spent nearly five years at DSV, in a similar role, and has also spent eight years at IBM as business development executive healthcare. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the healthcare business.
“With a vast network throughout the logistics and healthcare industries, Niels will be a great asset for the future growth of Ceva in the healthcare sector,” said Mr Binetti. “With his appointment, we are excited to start a new era in this field and to deliver ever more innovative, patient-centric solutions to our customers.”
