Another one of those US-airports-that-think-there-is-money-in-cargo stories. Mather Airport, an old military base in Sacramento, is to enjoy $107m in cargo infrastructure improvements to help it gain a 2% rise in freight traffic. But locals are against the plan and there has been some concern over “whether investing in cargo makes business sense”.
