French contract logistics specialist ID Logistics has appointed Marie Gay-de Tailly as group executive vice-president of human resources.
She will report to chief operating officer Christophe Satin and sit on the executive committee, tasked with establishing a global HR policy for the 17 ID Logistics entities around the world.
“ID Logistics faces a number of HR challenges. Ms Gay-de Tailly’s role is to help nurture the group’s strong growth by developing the skills of its men and women, attract new talent and support the organisation’s transformation and changes in its business activities,” the company said.
A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, she began her career in 1991 as HR director at the Saint-Mamet group. In 1996, she joined Nestlé Waters as HR development director, before heading up Agefos-PME as chief executive between 2002 and 2003.
Ms Gay-de Tailly joined the Safran group in 2004 as international HR development director and later served as HR senior vice president at Messier Services, then Morpho, which are in the same group.
