Leading time-critical logistics specialist Priority Freight has continued its expansion in continental Europe with the opening of new premises at Frankfurt Airport and has appointed Marco Sauer (pictured above) to lead the operation.

Mr Sauer joins Priority Freight as general manager of the Frankfurt office, and has over 12 years of experience in the logistics industry – he began his career in 2008 as logistics coordinator for LTU/Air Berlin before quickly progressing to station manager at JL Logistic.

In 2012, he moved into the time-critical sector as sales manager for Aircargo Trucking & Handling and was promoted to operations manager in 2017.

“Marco has gained significant knowledge in time-critical airfreight solutions and he will add further experience, drive and growth to Priority Freight’s German and global air freight teams,” Priority Freight said.

Priority Freight group managing director Neal Williams explained: “The opening of Priority Freight’s new Frankfurt premises is an important step towards providing global time-critical solutions to our customers, no matter what the geography, size, weight, distance or mode of transport.

“Launching operations in Frankfurt in addition to our presence in Willich will further strengthen our service capabilities and enable the team to better support its clients with their time-critical logistics requirements.”

The company also opened its new control tower in Bratislava last year.
