One the key stepping stones to building a successful business is hiring the right people. XPO Logistics chief executive Bradley Jacobs told The Loadstar during a recent interview that he identified which executives he wanted to join his organisation, and then “charmed them in”. However, in a recent ruling in a US court, some current XPO executives were found guilty of “wrongfully procuring customer lists and solicited personnel from their former employer CH Robinson”, the largest freight broker in the country. While not applying any legal sanctions on XPO, the case could well be asset-back for the young company.
