As far as cargo ship troubles go, the shippers awaiting to hear the outcome of the Hoegh Osaka’s freight won’t be too dismayed – worse things happen at sea. But Jaguar Land Rover, which accounts for the majority of the cars aboard the stricken ship, has nigh-on £100m at stake, according to Reuters estimates. They are insured, but as the luxury car manufacturer pointed out: “Our main objective is to get sold orders to customers.” And as yet, there is no word on the condition of the ship’s cargo.
