Hendrik Falk, formerly vice-president North and South America for AirBridgeCargo, has joined Swiss WorldCargo in the US.
The Swiss carrier is splitting its Americas team into two regions: western/southern US and South America – to be headed by Mr Falk; and northeast/midwest US and Canada under the lead of New York-based Michi Ganz.
Mr Falk left ABC in February after nearly three years with the all-cargo carrier, which has seen several senior executives leave in the past year. He has worked as a consultant before taking on the Atlanta-based role for Swiss.
Prior to ABS, Mr Falk was vice president cargo sales at Global Aviation Holdings, parent of World Airways, having left Polar Air Cargo after seven years. The new job will be his first role at an airline without freighters.
