Crane Worldwide Logistics has appointed George Schutte as vice-president global energy solutions.
Mr Schutte, who joined Crane in February as director of business development, will develop and focus its energy product in response to the needs of customers around the world.
Previously, he was CEO at Houston-based forwarder Ranahan Logistics, where he spent two years after leaving Panalpina, where he was head of oil and gas for the Americas. He has more than 15 years’ experience in logistics and has lived in Africa and Asia.
“We are thrilled to have George Schutte take on the role,” said Tim Zubradt, chief sales officer. “George has lived in some of the most challenging markets around the world and understands the demands of the marketplace.”
