GEFCO Group, the PSA Peugeot Citron and Russian Railways-owned automotive logistics specialist and freight forwarder has made a series of changes to its executive committee with the appointment of Emmanuel Delachambre (pictured above) and new roles for members Emmanuel Cheremetinski and Pierre-Jean Lorrain.

Luc Nadal, GEFCO chairman said: “With this new organisation, the GEFCO group will benefit from stronger synergies between its various specialities. This will generate greater efficiency and enable us to accelerate our growth in key markets and to guarantee the performance of our organisations.”

Mr Delachambre has been appointed executive vice president of GEFCO France and member of the group executive committee.

He joined GEFCO in 2013 as deputy director responsible for performance and continued improvement and was then appointed deputy managing director for GEFCO France in 2015.

Mr Cheremetinski, executive vice president of overland, will see his responsibilities expanded to include finished vehicles logistics, and warehousing and reusable packaging. He joined GEFCO two years ago, following a five-year stint on the executive committee of French container leasing firm Touax, developing the river transport sector in Africa and South America.

Meanwhile, Mr Lorrain, currently executive vice president of GEFCO’s Central Europe, Balkans & Middle East zone, will take over as head of the EUROMED region.

“In this capacity, he will drive the integrated performance of the two regions and will contribute to the creation of synergies and the pooling of resources,” GEFCO said.
