The Financial Times reports: “Please use the sharing tools found via the share button at the top or side of articles. US stock-index futures were higher on Tuesday amid hopes of progress in the US-China trade war. Investors have fretted that the arrest in Canada last week of a high-ranking executive at Chinese telecoms group Huawei over allegations of US sanctions busting could jeopardise the fragile trade truce between Washington and Beijing that had been nurtured earlier this month.”
